Music Ministry: Evan Drisner

Evan began his music ministry as a drummer for several different worship bands. He meet his beautiful wife Danielle while playing drums in a band she played piano in. They eventually moved to Regina to play for the 7:55 band. After one year Evan decided to finish school so they moved to Calgary where Evan studied music and traveled most of Canada playing at different events. Evan and Danielle began their leadership at Lawson in October, 2002.

If you could meet any person in the world who would choose and why? Easy, Eddie Vedder. I have listened to him since ’91. I love his music, and their concerts. I would love to pick his brain.

Favorite coffee shop: Starbucks

Do you sleep on your side, stomach, or back? Side

What is your favorite food? Pizza and pasta.

Are you a Coke of Pepsi person? PEPSI

If you had twelve hours where you could do whatever you wanted how would you spend them? I would sleep in. Then go snow boarding. Arrive on time for my dinner with Eddie Vedder, and cap off the night with my wife at a Pearl Jam concert.

What is your favorite color? Blue

Favorite scripture verse: Mark 2:16 and 17. It’s a cool look into who Jesus was, and always a good reminder.
